SIEI’s mission is to help people and organizations leverage the power of international education to thrive in today’s interconnected world.
• SIEI is a different kind of education institute; we’re driven by the belief that higher education should enable us to develop new ways of understanding the world, and help make a positive impact within it. Our students become independent thinkers with ambition, empathy, and a lifelong love for learning. We’re a friendly community of staff and students, and our small class sizes mean that academic staff can give personal care and attention to each student. Reports frequently highlight the positive experience of students and individual attention offered by SIEI’s staff.

Goals & Strategies

Guided by our commitment to education and research and to the health and safety of our community, SIEI continues to emphasize remote learning and work while allowing for the resumption of certain in-person activities. Supporting the wellbeing of community members while advancing SIEI’s academic enterprise requires each of us to take steps to protect ourselves and others whether by continuing to study or work remotely, or by following important health and safety protocols at institute. Through robust commitment at the Institute, School, and individual level, all of us can play a role in preventing the spread of infection and can help keep Harvard healthy.
